Clarksburg Animal Hospital was founded on three guiding principles:

While all of our foundational principles are equally important, providing personal care to our patients and excellent communication to their owners is our primary focus.  Your pets receive better care when you have the knowledge to understand the reasons behind their care.  We believe that education is always the key to excellent medical care.  No matter how good of a job we are doing with communication, we are always finding new ways to accomplish that goal more effectively.

30-minute appointments are our standard to ensure all of your pet’s needs and all of your concerns are thoroughly addressed.  We take the time to explain to you what is going on so that you better understand our recommendations for treatment.  You should leave with an understanding of preventative care, procedures, costs, expectations, risks and follow-up.

We know most of our clients and patients by name and greet you with a smile when you walk through the door.   Clarksburg Animal Hospital will maintain our small town atmosphere no matter how big Clarksburg grows.  Developing relationships with our patients and their owners is why we are here doing our job each and every day.  Knowing all of you so well encourages us to continue to go the extra mile.

Part of providing top-notch care to your pets is also knowing when to look beyond the services we can provide. Sometimes your pet will need a specialist or 24-hour care at a facility with a veterinarian present 24 hours a day.  We have excellent, long-standing relationships with most of the veterinary specialists in the area and we will make sure your pet gets the care they need.  We will never compromise your pet’s care by avoiding specialist referrals in order to keep the business for ourselves.
