Dr. Greta also enjoys volunteering her time to speak with the youth of our community about pet health and anything amimal related.

2009 Clarksburg 5K Run, 5K Walk, and Kids Fun Run presented by………to benefit…..sponors to bring awareness to some of the needy in the community to be held on April 18, 2009 beginning at 8:30 am.
The Annual "Pooch Swim" part is presented by the Clarksburg Town Center. Residents of local neighborhoods are invited to celebrate the end of the summer with a parade and pool party—for their dogs! T-shirts, dog treats and goody bags are handed out to participants. This year’s celebration is on Saturday, September 12th from 9:00am to 11:00am. Rain date is scheduled for Sunday, September 13th.
Clarksburg Day is an annual celebration of the Clarksburg community and is presented by the Clarksburg Historical Society. Local vendors and sponsors help to put on a days worth of children’s activities, craft vendors, and town tours of local historic buildings and sites.
Kids learn how to care for and train their dogs. They work with professional trainers and show their dogs several times a year in obedience, fitting and showing, agility and Rally-O. Each year at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair the club puts on a show. CAH sponsors the club by giving dog related items for gift bags given out to participants and judges.
The First Annual Kites Over Clarksburg Festival is presented by the Clarksburg Civic Association and the Department of Parks (MNCPPC). The festival is from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday March 28, 2009 at the Ovid Hazen Wells Park located on Skylark Road. "Kites Over Clarksburg" offers craft activities for children, live animals from Star Gazing Farm, and the opportunity to make your own kite. We will have a booth set up to meet and greet with Dr. Greta.
Clarksburg Animal Hospital was proud to be a team sponsor of the innagural season of Clarksburg Adult Softball League. In conjuntion with Up-County Fine Wine & Beer, and a two other sponsors, a four team leauge played a 5 week schedule. Fun was definitely had by all. We are looking forward to supporting the area's adult softball players in the 2010 season!
